Inquiry
WALA: the Waitangi Wetlands. In our Inquiry groups we had to research an animal, plant or insect. We had to find out if the Waitangi Wetlands is a good place for it to live and grow.
We also had to create a way of showing our learning. Here is a video of how we presented our findings.

Story writing
WALT: write narrative stories. In a narrative story we have been learning to add detail to our character, create a picture of the setting and the character in the reader's mind and give detail of what happens in the beginning, middle and end.

WALA: the setting, plot and the characters. We created a setting with sock puppets and recorded what the characters said. We are able to summarise a range of texts.
